ADELE SCHWARTZ-BENZAKEN, MD, PHD – MINISTRY OF HEALTH OF BRAZIL, RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL Adele Schwartz Benzaken is a MD and PhD in Public Health. She is currently the Director of Department of STI, AIDS and Viral Hepatitis of the Ministry of Health of Brazil and Advisor of the Pan American Health Organization and as a Vice-Chair of the Global EMTCT Validation Committee of HIV and Congenital Syphilis in Latin America and the Caribbean. Title: PrEP Lifestyle: A New Gateway to STI The implementation of PrEP in Brazil has brought the possibility of a new approach to STIs that include periodic screening, diagnosis and treatment. Results will be presented on the behavior of STIs among PrEP users, and the challenges in the implementation of the etiological diagnosis and the risk of antimicrobial resistance.
